Our creative and community programme will grow over the next several months.
Jill and the A Collective team have been speaking with a wide range of local people to find out what type of creative events and activities are wanted at The Story Sanctuary.
We were at the Gruffy Fair earlier in the year and Sanderstead Community Day in September, plus our Open Weekend in the library building in mid September as part of the Open House Festival.
We invited everyone — children to elders, local charities and community leaders — to add an ingredient to our “Story Soup”.
Our favourites include a silent disco fundraiser, dog-friendly days, movie nights, bingo and pizza, chair yoga, skills swaps, singing together and lots of places to sit and read in the garden.
